Richard S. Drury of Topeka, KS, passed away on May 15, 2021.

He graduated to his eternal home with his Savior, Jesus Christ.

Richard was the son of Frank and Olive Drury. He was born on February 5, 1932 in Topeka.

Richard graduated from Meriden High School in 1950. After graduating, he attended automotive school in Detroit. Richard joined the Army and spent a year and a half serving in the Korean Conflict. After being honorably discharged, he was employed by KNI for many years before retiring.
He loved to talk for hours about politics and the Bible. He loved his Kansas City Royals and the Kansas City Chiefs. He was a member at the First Church of the Nazarene. His knowledge of the Bible was excellent and his comments were helpful to many people. Richard enjoyed trips with his sister Betty to visit Linda in Phoenix.

Richard is survived by his sister Betty McGinnis of Chicago, Illinois.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and his sister Linda.

Funeral Service will be Thursday, May 20, 2021 at 11:00 am at First Church of the Nazarene in Topeka. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
