Thelma Lee (Collinge) Schroeder, 85, passed away Sunday, June 10, 2018, at the University of Kansas – St Francis Campus, Topeka, KS.
Thelma was born August 10, 1932, in Emporia, KS, to Hurshal A. and Thelma Irene (Foster) Collinge. She graduated from Emporia High School. Thelma married Wayne Edward Schroeder on March 17, 1952 in Emporia, KS. Together they had two children. She worked as a clerk for Southwestern Bell for over 30 years until her retirement. Thelma and Wayne were inseparable. They loved spending all their time together. Thelma also loved her daughter, granddaughter and dog, Peaches.
She is survived by her husband; daughter, Stacy (Josh Brohaugh) Forgy; and granddaughter, Alison Forgy.
Thelma was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Sandra (Schroeder) Wettengel.
A graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday June 26, 2018, at Chicago Mound Cemetery, Emporia, KS.
