Winifred T. Hartman
Winifred T. Hartman, 80, Topeka, Thursday, died Aug. 26, 2004, at St. Francis Health Center, Topeka. She was born Feb. 24, 1924, at Macclesfield, England, the daughter of Peter and Mary Lee Potts. She lived in Clay Center before moving to Topeka in October 1955. She was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church. She worked as a bottle inspector for 7-Up Dr. Pepper Bottling Co. She married Wilbert J. Hartman on May 25, 1945, in Macclesfield, England. Surviving are her husband, Wilbert J. Hartman, Topeka; a daughter, Ruth and Gerry Monhollon, Topeka; a son, Dean and Linda Hartman, Auburn; a sister, Pauline and Russ Gibson, Congleton, England; a brother, Oswald "Ossie" and Kath Stubbs, Macclesfield, England; three grandchildren, Danny and wife, Shara Monhollon, Josh Hartman, and Pat and wife, Marsha Mohollon; and five great-grandchildren, Danielle, Shelby, Gerald, Patrick and Preston. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Calvary Lutheran Chur ch. Burial will be in Penwell-Gabel's Memorial Park Cemetery, Topeka. Mrs. Hartman will lie in state after noon Sunday at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel in North Topeka, where the family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Lutheran Church, 4211 N.W.
