Wilma Park
Wilma Lavone Park, 92, Topeka, died Tuesday, April 15, 2003, at a Topeka retirement community.
Miss Park lived on a farm in northwest Shawnee County for many years. She was a secretary in the secretary of state's office for more than 40 years before she retired in 1976.
She was born Aug. 2, 1910, in Clay County, to Floyd Blanchard and Delia Waive Tobyne Park. She graduated from Seaman High School and Strickler Business College.
Miss Park was a member of the Kaw Valley Ladies Club and the Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include a brother, Gerald Park, Emporia.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Memorial Park Cemetery. Miss Park will lie in state at Parker-Price Mortuary after 3 p.m. Friday.
