OBITUARY: Mrs. Wilma L. Lyden
Mrs. Wilma Lee Lyden, 78, Topeka, died Sat., Sept. 30, 2006, at Stormont-Vail Hosp. She was born Aug. 6, 1928, at Mulberry, KS, the daughter of Atlee Ray and Gladys Pearl (Fish) Stewart. She had lived in Shawnee County the past 55 years.
For 25 years Wilma worked as an LPN at Stormont-Vail and St. Francis Hospitals. She owned and operated Ceramics Galore.
Wilma was married to Clarence Lyden on April 26, 1945, at Girard, KS. He survives.
Also surviving are 4 children: Howard Lyden of K.C., MO, Sherry Musick, Joetta Lady, and Jackie Lyden, all of Topeka; 7 sisters; 2 brothers; 9 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m., Tues., Oct. 3, 2006, at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 N.W. Independence. Interment will be in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery.
