OBITUARY: Wilma L. Casto
Wilma L. Casto, 72, Topeka, died Sun., Jan. 3, 2010, at Stormont-Vail. She was born March 25, 1937, at Perry, the daughter of Francis E. and Clara M. (Hiner) Porter. She attended Perry Public Schools and retired from Adams Business Forms. She enjoyed Bunco, going to the Casino and garage sales, and crossword puzzles. She loved her grandson's racing and NASCAR. Wilma was married to Dale R. Casto for 54 years. Surviving are her husband: Dale R. Casto of the home; a son: Steve Casto of Silver Lake; a daughter Debbie (Riley) Rees of Topeka; a grandson: Austin Rees; and 2 brothers: Ralph (Sharon) Porter of Perry and Marvin Porter of Topeka. She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 sisters, and 2 brothers. A funeral ceremony will be at 10:00 AM, Wed., Jan. 6, 2010, at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Ave., Topeka. Interment in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery. Wilma will lie in state after 3:00 PM, Tues., at the funeral chapel where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:30 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to Helping Hands Humane Society, 2625 NW Rochester Road, Topeka, KS 66617.
