Wilma Elizabeth Clarke
Wilma Elizabeth Clarke, 96, Topeka, died Tuesday, February 7, 2017, at Kelly House II. She was born June 19, 1920, at Fredonia, the daughter of Otto and Elsie (Miller) Apollo.
Wilma graduated from Washburn University with a B.A. in 1962. She worked as a medical technologist at Topeka Medical Center for 15 years; a certification specialist for the State of Kansas for 10 years; and an abstractor at Stormont-Vail Hospital for 10 years. Wilma was a member of the Second Presbyterian Church. She had lived at Fredonia, Topeka, Lawrence, McAlester, OK, and Enid, OK.
On November 19, 1960, Wilma was married to Robert W. Clarke in Topeka. He preceded her in death on December 9, 2010.
Surviving are her siblings: Wayne Apollo of Fredonia, and Helen Lohrenz of Wisconsin.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, February 14, 2017, at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery, 3616 SW Sixth Avenue, Topeka.
