Willie "Lamur" "Bill" Goodwin, 82, of Topeka, passed away Thursday, August 22, 2013.
He was born November 27, 1930 in Water Valley, Mississippi, the son of Clarence Willis and Lillie Laneta (Bell) Goodwin.
Mr. Goodwin was employed by Long Beach Transportation, Long Beach, CA for 25 years.
Survivors include a daughter, Alice Hoffman, Ft. Worth, TX; two siblings, Fay Odom, Okolona, MS and Lena Hamilton, New Smyrna Beach, FL.
Honoring his request, Mr. Goodwin was cremated. Private interment will be at the Rochester Cemetery, Topeka. Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel is assisting the family.
