OBITUARY: William Wayne Anderson
William Wayne Anderson, 61, Topeka, died Fri. evening, Jan. 5, 2007, at his home. He was born Oct. 1, 1945, in Topeka, the son of Harold Wayne and Marie Vallee (Marney) Anderson.
William retired from Goodyear in 1992, after 28 years of service. He was a member of the Seaman Baptist Church.
He was married to Linda Kay (Ireland) Haynes on Sept. 21, 1992, at Miami, OK. She survives.
Other suvivors include 3 daughters: Kimberly Kay Torgeson and Melanie Soza both of Topeka, and Terri Lynn Jellison Goerndt of San Antonio, TX; a sister: Cindy Miller of Topeka; and 7 grandchildren: Steven, Melissa, Jacob, Brandi, Nikki, Christopher, and Michael. He was preceded in death by a son, Kevin Anderson, on Feb. 21, 1993.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM, Wed., Jan. 10, 2007, at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence. Interment in Penwell-Gabel Memorial Park Cemetery. William will lie in state after 3:00 PM, Tues., at the funeral chapel where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30 PM.
