William Charles Ross

William C. Ross, 66, of Topeka, KS, went to be with the Lord Thursday, February 16, 2023 in his home, surrounded by his loved ones.  William was born on December 26, 1956 to Thomas S. Ross and Marcia A. Owens.  On November 11, 1977 he married Hildred S. Childers.  They raised three daughters together, Angelica, Rhonda, and Elizabeth.  They later divorced in 1999.

He went to school for, and worked as a diesel mechanic in Houston, Texas.   He later became a mason tender in Topeka, Kansas.  He enjoyed refinishing antiques, building furniture, camping, fishing, OU, wrestling, and was an extremely passionate father and grandpa.

William was preceded by his father, Thomas S. Ross, his sister, Karen Sue Wheeler, and two nieces, Dawn and Ruby.

He is survived by three daughters, Angelica Salyer (Matt), Rhonda Parkhurst (Donald), and Elizabeth Ross; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild on on the way; his brothers, Richard Ross (Virginia), and Thomas Ross; sister, Judy Ross, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 25th, at 1:00 p.m. at Davidson Funeral Home, 1035 N Kansas Avenue, Topeka. The service will be livestreamed here
