William C. O'Handlen

William C. O’Handlen, 54, of Topeka, passed away on Wednesday evening, January 18, 2023.   He was born October 3, 1968 in Topeka the son of Bobby and Gladys Cann O’Handlen.   He worked at Gardner Remodeling.   He enjoyed working on bikes and cars.   He was a big fan of anything Harley Davidson.   When he was young he and his twin brother would go with their sisters down to Wakarusa and spend time fishing, catching crawdads and shooting B B guns, they had a great time.

He is survived by his daughter, Samantha O’Handlen (Jerome) of Topeka; mother, Gladys O’Handlen of Wingo, Kentucky; grandchildren, Bradlee Boyd and Mason Senn; siblings, Walter O’Handlen, Georgia O’Handlen, Esther Vines (Denny), Norma Campbell (Terry), Roberta Funk, Ruth Powers (Johnny) and many nieces and nephews which include Jacob King, Jr. and Danny Williams.

He was preceded in death by his dad Bobby; two siblings, Nettie O’Handlen and Johnnie Markham, niece Patricia who died in infancy; nephews, Austin O’Handlen and Timmy Funk; and wife, Geraldine Brunin.

A memorial visitation will be held from 7:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Wednesday January 25, 2023 at the Davidson Funeral Home.  Memorial contributions may be made to Phoenix Hospice in honor of William.   www.davidsonfuneral.com
