William Greeson

William "Karl" Greeson

Karl Greeson, was born August 21, 1955, in Topeka KS, to Jim and Verna Greeson. He died peacefully, November 12, 2022.
Karl grew up in north Topeka and attended Seaman High School. He graduated in 1973.

On March 27th, 1976, Karl married Terry Stewart and they shared 46 years together. They had two daughters and two grandchildren.

After 42 years working for Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad, Karl retired in 2015.

Karl spent many hours with his brother-in-law, Roger, flying to many places in Kansas. Karl also enjoyed time with Terry and his friends and family.

Karl will be remembered for his humor, his train whistle call, his mechanical skills, his love for his wife. He and Terry are so unbelievably missed.

Survivors include, daughter, Jenny Taylor (Nathan), grandson Harry, daughter Kelly Greeson, and granddaughter, Willow Tutton, siblings, Pam Rees and David Greeson and several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Terry Greeson, brothers, Steve and John Greeson, and his parents.

Honoring his request, cremation is planned. A celebration of life will be held on Monday, November 21st, 2022, at 10:00 AM at Parker-Price Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 245 NW Independence Ave. Topeka, KS. The family will receive friends following the service. Please wear your Chiefs gear or dress however you want.
