William G. Stout, 57, of Topeka passed away Saturday, October 4, 2008.
He was born January 20, 1951 in Chicago, IL, the son of Gordon Leo and Mary Alice (Norris) Stout. He attended high school in Cincinnati, OH. He served in the United States Army.
He was employed by Cargill in Topeka since 1977.
Bill married Diana K. Biesterfeld on September 9, 1978 in Russell, KS. She survives. Other survivors include his children, Duke Ramer (Dawn) of Topeka, Nicole Lofing (Tyler) of Osawatomie, KS, Jennifer Jamerson (Dustin) of Topeka, and Jason Stout of Topeka; his mother and sisters, Christine Morgan and Mary Ziegler all of Cincinnati, OH, a sister, Johanna Zee of Reno, NV; a sister, Trudy Alley and a brother, Edward Stout both of Louisville, KY; four grandsons, Brian, Seth, and Jace Lofing and Damian Jamerson.
Mr. Stout was cremated. The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m., Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at the Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence, Topeka. Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday, October 9, 2008 at the First Lutheran Church, 1234 SW Fairlawn, Topeka. Inurnment with military honors will follow at Prairie Home Cemetery, Topeka. Memorial contributions may be made to Lung Cancer Research, Midland Hospice or First Lutheran Church.
