William F. Domme, 67, of Topeka passed away on Monday, December 17, 2018 at Midland Hospice House in Topeka. He was born September 27, 1951 in Topeka the son of Robert W. and Esther Marie Wagner Domme. He attended Topeka West High School, graduating in 1970. He attended Kaw Valley Vo-Tech during his senior year of high school. He worked in construction in Dillon Colorado and Phoenicia, New York. He returned to Topeka and formed B&B Construction with his brother.
He enjoyed fishing in area lakes, enjoyed western’s on TV, collected eagle memorabilia, gardening, woodworking and his life-long passion of photography. His favorite vacation was a trip to Alaska with Suzanne after she retired from the state.
Survivors include, his wife Suzanne of their home in Topeka; children, Kevin R. Robertson of Topeka, Chris Terrell of Wichita, Jenny Quimby of DeKalb, Illinois, and Denise Crabb of Marion, Kansas; his step-son Carl Widell of Topeka; two sisters, Portia Shopteese of Mayetta and Carol Anne Norton of Woodland, Utah. Ten grandchildren also survive.
He married Suzanne on June 10, 1989 in Topeka.
He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Robert Charles Domme in 2015. A grandson also precedes him in death.
A memorial service will be held for William and his wife Suzanne on Friday, April 12, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home. Inurnment will follow at Meriden Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. on Thursday evening, April 11, 2019 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Midland Hospice or Community Church sent in care of Davidson Funeral Home, 1035 N. Kansas Ave., Topeka, Kansas 66608.
