Wasale V. "Lee" Dillion, 91, of the Grantville area, passed away Thursday, March 1, 2012.
She was born February 1, 1921 in Talala, OK, the daughter of Robert and Lula (Heaps) Holland. She was a graduate of Talala High School.
Mrs. Dillion was employed at the Forbes Supply Depot and Co-Mac Equipment Company in Topeka.
She was a member of Grantville United Methodist Church, and UMW.
Lee married Jake Dillion on June 22, 1937 in Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on February 17, 1995. Survivors include a daughter, Bobbie Clough and a granddaughter, Debbie Clough, both of Meriden; and a brother, Pete (Billie) Holland, Nowata, OK. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Wann and Jay Holland and a son-in-law, Rex Clough.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Monday, March 5, 2012 at the Grantville United Methodist Church, 3724 South St., Grantville, KS 66429. Interment will follow at Grantville Cemetery, Grantville, KS. The family will receive friends from 3-5 p.m., Sunday at the Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Ave, Topeka.
