OBITUARY: Wanda L. Harris
Wanda L. Harris, 84, Topeka, was welcomed into heaven on February 10th, 2013.
Wanda was born May 13, 1928, in Leonardville, KS, to Glen Chester and Elsie Catherine (Beckey) Thomas. Wanda was married to Donald Alex Harris on Dec. 24, 1946, at Topeka. He preceded her in death on August 23, 1983. Wanda was also preceded in death by her daughter, Deborah L. Allen, in 2011.
She is survived by sons: Timothy (Joyce) Harris, Matthew Harris, and Jared (Janette) Harris: son-in-law: Donald Allen; 16 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Friday., February 22, 2013, at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Ave., Topeka, with visitation one hour prior to service time. Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM, Fri., at the Leonardville Cemetery, Leonardville, Riley County, Kansas.
