OBITUARY: Wanda Jeane Justice

Wanda Jeane Justice, 84, Topeka, KS, died Sun., June 21, 2009, at Midland Hospice. She was born March 12, 1925, at Newton, KS, the daughter of Edgar C. and B. Berniece (Brown) Foster. She graduated from Washburn University with a B.S. in Elementary Education. She taught Kindergarten at Hoyt Elementary School. She was a member of Town & Country Christian Church. Wanda was married to Graham H. Justice on Oct. 21, 1946, at Newton. He preceded her in death on May 3, 2003. She was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Graham Justice, in Oct., 1974. Surviving are daughters: Cindi Gleason of Kansas City, MO and Carol Stahlheber of Topeka, KS; grandchildren: Jennifer Smith (Mike), Joe Gleason (Rebecca), Jeffrey Johnston, Jacob Johnston, Sarah Johnston, John Gleason, and Joshua Gleason; and great-grandchildren: Truman Smith, Graham Justice Gleason, and Madison Johnston. Funeral services will be at 1:30 PM, Wed., June 24, 2009, at Town & Country Christian Church. Interment in Mount Hope Cemetery, Topeka. Wanda will lie in state after 3:00 PM, Tues., at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence, Topeka, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
