Wanda D. Carlson

Wanda D. Carlson, 77, of Topeka passed away on March 17, 2025. She was born on January 30, 1948 in Reno, Nevada. The daughter of William Dean Calvert Sr. and Wanda Lou Calvert (Griffith). Wanda graduated from Topeka High School in 1966. She attended Washburn University. She retired as an Administrative Assistant for Valeo Behavioral Health in 2013. She enjoyed reading, baking bread, trivia and did some writing.

Wanda is survived by her daughter, Leah Carlson and son-in-law Darrell Allen of Topeka. Siblings, Sandra Dunham (Topeka), Karen Ross and William Calvert Jr (both of Kansas City). Granddaughters; Alexandria Flowers, and Julia Ramirez (Allen) and two great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on March 28, 2025 at Mount Hope Cemetery and Mausoleum Chapel. Inurnment will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Parker-Price and Davidson Cremations and Funerals is assisting the family.
