Walter S. Greene, 76, of Eudora, formerly of Topeka, passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2024.
He was born July 7, 1948, in Topeka, Kansas, the son of Merten and Velma (Boles) Greene.
Walter liked stuffed animals and race cars. He loved spending time with his family, especially his brother Eldon. Walter truly enjoyed playing bingo.
Survivors include his Brother, Eldon Greene; a Sister in law, Dianah Lynn Greene as well as a host of nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Edward Greene, Jim Greene, Bobby Greene, Sr, Verta Marie Madison, Lola Mae Barnhill, and Helen Whitesell.
The family will greet friends from 10:00 am until 11:00 am Saturday July 20, 2024 at Parker-Price & Davidson Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 245 N.W. Independence Avenue, Topeka. A Funeral service will begin at 11:00 am followed by interment at Valley Falls Cemetery, in Valley Falls, KS.
