Vivian Ruth Frazier, 88, of Topeka passed away Monday, August 14, 2006 at Rolling Hills Health Care Center.
She was born January 9, 1918 in Denison, Kansas the daughter of Claude and Bertha Harrison Glover.
Vivian graduated from Denison High School in 1936.
She married Melvin E. Frazier September 23, 1944 in Topeka, Kansas. He preceded her in death December 27, 1978.
Vivian and her husband jointly owned and operated Frazier's Skyhook Service for many years. She worked at Westside Baptist Church for 30 plus years in child care.
She is survived by a son Mell A. Frazier, daughter in law, Connie Frazier, Topeka; a daughter Virginia Gantz, Cheyenne, WY; six grandchildren, Kerry, Karla, Travis, Kyndra, Tracy, Jodi and five great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday, August 16, 2006 at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel 245 NW Independence Ave. Topeka. Interment will follow at Topeka Cemetery.
Vivian will lie in state after 3:00 PM Tuesday at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel where the family will receive friends from 5:30 PM until 7:00 PM.
