OBITUARY: Mrs. Vivian Bertha Sutter
Mrs. Vivian Bertha Sutter, 90, died Tues., June 13, 2006, at Alma Manor. She was born Sept. 13, 1915 at Topeka the daughter of John A. and Mamie M. (Kyle) Lewis.
Vivian was a former member of Beulah Chapter # 34, O.E.S. She and her husband had lived and farmed at Grantville and Oskaloosa. They later lived in Lawrence where they both worked at the Univ. of Kansas. After retiring they moved to Topeka.
She was married to Henry Sutter who preceded her in death.
Surviving are 2 nieces: LaRita Lane of McFarland and Beverly Daly of Fresno, CA; and a nephew: Ronald G. Lewis of Berryton.
Private committal services will be in Underwood Cemetery, Williamstown. Vivian will lie in state from 1:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 N.W. Independence, Topeka. Memorial contributions may be made to Alma Manor, 234 Manor Circle, Alma, KS 66401.
