Virginia Smith

Virginia Smith, age 79, of Topeka, passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at Stormont Vail Medical Center. Virginia was born June 24, 1940 in Topeka the daughter of Joseph and Grace (Penrod) Miller. Virginia grew up in North Topeka, graduating from Seaman High School. She worked for UPS for over 30 years. She was a member of the Mother Teresa Catholic Church. She was an avid bowler and loved horses and playing softball. She is preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Miller; three sisters, Sharon Abbott, Linda Russell, and Bernie Lloyd. She is survived by a son, Chris (Stacey) Smith of Topeka; two daughters, Jackie Smith of Meriden and Doneen Smith of Topeka; a brother, Jim Miller of Tecumseh; a sister, Kathy Goldsmith of Topeka; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Celebration of Life Visitation will be Saturday, December 7, 2019 from 9:00 – 10:30 a.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home. Private family inurnment will be at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
