Virginia "Elnora" Lambert, 91, of Topeka, passed away Saturday, July 24, 2021.
She was born May 28, 1930, in Guion, Arkansas, the daughter of Desmond Farnsworth and Lola Grigsby.
She was a member of the Church of God in Topeka.
Survivors include five sons, William "Earl" (Jerri) Blassingame of Topeka, Lloyd Paul (Kathy) Blassingame of Detroit, TX, Roy L. (Bev) Blassingame of Topeka, Herald J. (Erlene) Farley of Topeka and Billie R. (Christy) Lambert of Oklahoma; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; her sisters, Eva Mae King and Vivian (Bob) Ribordy of Topeka; her brother, Garry (Carrie) Forshee of Topeka; and her sister-in-law, Peggy Forshee of Topeka.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Earl "Esco" Blassingame, Herald Roy Farley and Verl Lambert; daughter, Velma Bell; her parents, Desmond Farnsworth and Lola Forshee; her step-father, Truman Forshee, Sr.; and three brothers, Truman "Junior" Forshee, Jr., Carl Forshee and Larry Forshee.
Honoring her request, cremation is planned. No services are planned. Parker Price Cremations, Funerals & Receptions in Topeka is assisting the family.
