Virginia L. Williams, 91, Topeka, died Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2003, at a Topeka nursing home. Mrs. Williams had worked at Pelletiers, Stormont-Val and she retired from Falleys. She was born Aug. 12, 1912, in Trinidad, Colo., the daughter of Earl T. and Mary Helen Brooks Platt. She moved to Topeka in 1926 and graduated from Topeka High School. She married Carl R. Williams on Oct. 7, 1938, in Topeka. He died Oct. 27, 1968. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Agustina M. Williams, Topeka; a sister, Beverly Root, Canton, Texas; three grandchildren, Tina Williams-Collins and Matthew J. Williams, both of Topeka, and Maria L. Culbertson, Dallas; and two great-grandsons, Nicolas A. Williams and Christopher J. Williams-Herrera, both of Topeka. Private burial will be in Topeka Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice, 1033 S.W. Gage Blvd., Topeka, 66604. Parker-Price Mortuary is in charge of arrangements
