Virginia Lorraine White
Virginia Lorraine White, 87, Topeka, KS, died Tuesday, April 14, 2015, at Stormont-Vail Hospital, Topeka. Virginia was born August 5, 1927, at Topeka, the daughter of Allen P. and Elizabeth "Elsie" (Keil) Streeter.
Among Virginias hobbies were quilting and crocheting. She enjoyed going to the Casinos.
She was married to Charles Edison White on August 28, 1944, at Lyndon. He preceded her in death on March 11, 1999. She was also preceded in death by a son, Charles Eugene White, on September 11, 2013.
Surviving are two sons: Gary Dean White and Darrell Daniel "Danny" White of the home; three daughters: Julie L. Twombly of Kernes, TX, Beverly Jo Zutten of Topeka,KS and Saundra L. Howerton of Mayetta, KS; two brothers: Donald L. Streeter of Trenton, NJ and Paul Streeter of Centralia, KS; two sisters: Hazel Robinson of Topeka, KS, and Delores Streeter of St. Louis, MO; seven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM, Friday, April 17, 2015, at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Avenue, Topeka, KS Interment will be in Topeka Cemetery, 1601 SE Tenth, Topeka, KS.
Virginia will lie in state after 3:00 PM, Thursday, at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel.
