Virginia Butler 88, of Topeka, KS passed away on August 22, 2024. Virginia was born in Burnham, Missouri and graduated from Seaman High School.
Virginia married Jim Butler in 1953, a union that would last 67 years.
Virginia volunteered for eighteen and a half years with the Douglas County Senior Meals Program in Lecompton, KS. Virginia also enjoyed gardening, growing flowers, and sharing her harvest with friends and neighbors.
Survivors include children Kim and Cheryl, brother Jim (Kathy) Feyh, sister-in-law Barb Feyh and several nieces and nephews.
Virginia is preceded in death by her husband, Harry “Jim” Butler; her parents Paul Sr. and Wilma Feyh; brother Paul Feyh Jr.; sister Sharon Poole; and sister-in-law Delores Tappan.
The family will receive friends at Parker-Price and Davidson on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 from 5-7 pm. Graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 29th at the Rochester Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers and plants memorial contributions may be made to Helping Hands Humane Society or Phoenix Home Care and Hospice.
