Viola Marie Niccum, 72, Topeka, died Friday, December 8, 2017, at St. Francis Hospital. She was born March 18, 1945, in Emporia, the daughter of Stinson Browning and Edith Sara (Latta) Baldwin.
Viola graduated from Topeka High School.
She was married to James Elwin Niccum on August 5, 1982, in Topeka.
Surviving are her husband: James Niccum; children: Edith "Chris" Kauffman (Randy) of Topeka, Jerry O'Brian (Diane) of Topeka, I.V. Brog (Damon) of Wisconsin; siblings: Marita Peterson (Harry), Clyde Baldwin (Joyce); and Jerry Baldwin (Jeannette) all of Topeka; eight grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be at 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 16, 2017, at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Avenue, Topeka. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time.
