Vincent Gary Lambert, 24, of Topeka, died on Sat., Nov. 20, 2010 at Stormont-Vail Regional Health Center. He was born on Nov. 23, 1985 in Topeka, the son of Vincent Grant Lambert and Debra Jo Greeno.
Vincent attended Lundgren Elementary School, Chase Middle School, and graduated from Highland Park High School. He spent his life in Topeka and Hiawatha (Brown County). Vince loved life and lived each day to its fullest – free. He was very loving, caring and generous. He was a very kind person who enjoyed his family and friends. Vince's personality was the theatre of his soul. His smile was warm and genuine. Vince was very sports oriented and baseball was his favorite. Vince respected others and was respected in return. He deeply missed his older brother James Dean Lambert, whom preceded him in death on March 19, 2008. Vince was a great big brother to Terry and loved his dog Chaos. He will be greatly missed forever.
Survivors include his parents, his brother Terry Greeno; his grandmothers Beverly Friess and Cora A. Thomas both of Topeka; and many aunts, uncles, family and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother James Dean Lambert.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Wed., Nov. 24 at the Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel. Burial will be at 1: 30 p.m. in the Claytonville Cemetery in Brown County. Vincent will lie instate after 4 p.m. on Tues., Nov. 23 at the funeral home with visitation from 6 – 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Vincent Gary Lambert Memorial Fund, 1704 190th St., Hiawatha, KS 66434.
