Vida Berdine Wells, passed away on Monday, April 2, 2012 at Midland Hospice. She was born on January 19, 1926 in Lenexa, Kansas, the daughter of Ralph and Chelsea Seckinger. She was employed with Jaquith Pharmacy for 30 years.
On May 5, 1945 she married Edward D. Wells, Jr. in Topeka. He preceded her in death in 2001. She was also preceded in death by one grandson in 2007.
Vida is survived by her two daughters, Tanya J. Howard and Terry L. Brown, eight grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren, four sisters and one brother, all of Topeka.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 5 at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery. Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel is assisting with arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to Presbyterian Manor Good Samaritan Fund, 4712 SW 6th Ave, Topeka, KS 66606 or Midland Care Hospice Services, 200 SW Frazier Cir, Topeka, KS 66606.
