OBITUARY: Vernon Udell Hudson, Jr.
Vernon Udell Hudson, Jr., 53, Lawrence, died Friday, June 9, 2006, at his home. He was born March 9, 1953, at Fort Lupton, Colorado the son of Phyllis Magdalene (Benavidez) Hudson and Vernon Udell Hudson, Sr.
Vern was a veteran and had been a cleaning crew foreman before becoming disabled.
Surviving are two sons: Scott Hudson of Midland,Texas and Joshua David Hudson of Lawrence; 2 daughters: Wendy Marie Welsh of Midland, Texas and Brandi Ann Hudson of Ottawa; his mother and step-father: Phyllis M. and Joseph F. Chavez of Lawrence; 2 sisters: Sandra Sue Calkins of Thornton, Colorado and Pamela Ann Wold of Lawrence; and 2 grandchildren.
Vern was cremated and services were private.
