Vernon Leroy Booth Jr.

December 4, 1970 — October 28, 2020

Vernon LeRoy Booth Jr., 49, passed away on October 28, 2020.

He was born on December 4, 1970 in McPherson, KS, the son of Vernon and Sharon (Moore) Booth Sr. He attended Seaman High School in Topeka, KS.

Vernon was creative and enjoyed doing handyman work, building things, drawing, coloring, and spending time with friends and family. Some of his favorite pastimes were spent playing video games against his sister Tina and fishing, which to say he loved doing would be an understatement.

Whenever you saw Vernon you always knew he had a corny joke up his sleeve or something smart to say, which you could never really be mad about. He could be ornery at times, but he had a big heart and the ability to make people feel like family.

Vernon can be described in one word, unique. He had a huge heart and was never shy about lending a hand to someone in need or opening his home to others. Vernon had a way with words and was instantly lovable, which made him a wonderful father figure and friend to so many.

Vernon was appreciative for all of the love and support that his family, friends and acquaintances have given him over the years.

Vernon is survived by his mother, Sharon Booth; sisters, Tina Booth and Penny Booth; daughters, Ashli Volle, Tiffany Booth, Xena Lemon and Marley Strunk; sons, Joshua Booth and Kodie Guay; granddaughter, Lilliana Volle, Isabelle Long, Zaci Volle and Remington Volle; nieces, Christina Allenbaugh and Briana McFalls; nephews, Jerome McFalls and Andrew Pagel; great-nephews, Kevin Booth, Kolton Pagel, Kory Pagel and Amonte Thomas. He was preceded in death by his father, Vernon LeRoy Booth Sr..
