Vera Sue Kozubek, 53, of Topeka, passed away Sunday, March 1, 2015.
She was born September 22, 1961 in Concordia, KS, the daughter of Virgil Lee and Connie Sue (Miller) Bisnett. She was a 1979 graduate of Royal Valley High School, Hoyt, KS.
Vera was employed by North Plaza Bank in Topeka and later for Seaman School District.
Survivors include two daughters, Michelle Kozubek (Jake Wiens), K.C., MO and Kyndra (Doug) Johnson, Anchorage, AK; her mother, Connie Bisnett, Topeka; and her sister, Vicky Bisnett, Topeka.
She was preceded in death by her son, Ryan Kozubek, June 2, 2009; her father, Virgil Bisnett on August 22, 2009; her brother, Randy Bisnett, August 14, 1988; her maternal grandparents, Lawrence and Maxine Miller and her paternal grandparents, George and Mabel Bisnett.
Vera enjoyed reading, drawing, writing poetry for every occasion, and was proud of her profession and helping people.
A celebration of life ceremony will be at 1 p.m., Friday, March 6, 2015 at the Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Ave, Topeka. Interment will follow at the St. Aloysius Catholic Cemetery, Meriden, KS. Vera will lie in state after 3 p.m., Thursday, March 5, 2015 at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m.
