OBITUARY Vera B. Sicking
Vera B. Sicking, 92, Topeka, died Thurs., March 8, 2012, at Plaza West. She was born Jan 26, 1920, at Rossville, the daughter of Charles E. and Alice C. (Stum) DeGraff. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and was retired from W.T. Grant Department Store. She was married to Robert H. Sicking on Dec. 18, 1956, at Newkirk, OK. He preceded her in death on July 27, 1983. Surviving are two sisters: Bonnie Thomas of Silver Lake and Dolly Heiland of Rossville. Graveside services will be at 11:30 AM, Tues., March 13, 2012, at Rossville Cemetery. A Rosary will be at 6:00 PM, Mon., at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Ave., Topeka. Vera will lie in state after 3:00 PM, Mon., at the funeral chapel where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 227 SW Van Buren, Topeka, KS 66603.
