Valeria Knauber

Valeria Fern (Peggy) Knauber, 93, Topeka, died Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2004 at a local care center. She was born Oct. 3, 1911 in Willard, KS the daughter of Ross Cleveland and Bertha Belle Smith Lister. She married Arol M. Knauber, Feb. 6, 1929 in Topeka, KS he died Nov. 9, 1987. She is preceded in death by a daughter Dorothy Colgrove in 1974. She is survived by a son James A. (Jim) Knauber of Topeka; 7 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 16, 2004 at Valencia Cemetery, Topeka.

Mrs. Knauber will lie in state after 3:00 p.m., Friday, Oct. 15, 2004 where the family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel in North Topeka.
