Trudy Ann Wunder

Trudy Ann Wunder, 55, of Topeka, passed away on October 22, 2021.   She was born January 9, 1966 in Topeka the daughter of Thomas and Beulah Roark Wunder.  She attended St. Matthews Grade School and later Highland Park High School.   Trudy loved her grandchildren.  They were her pride and joy.   She enjoyed Halloween, any kind of Hannibal Lecter movie, going to native American pow wows at Lake Shawnee, loved her cat “Gert” and loved to play jokes on people and seeing other people laugh.

She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Hayes of Topeka; son, Kevin Hayes of Topeka; grandchildren, Kiarra Miller, Kaleah Hayes, Kamilla Redmond, Kaicey Hayes, Maxx Hayes, Hailey Hayes and Daizey Hayes; siblings, Mark Wunder of Topeka, Stanley (Connie) Wunder of Carbondale, James (Jennifer) Wunder of Shawnee, Kansas, Barbara (Randall) Tabor of Topeka, Beverly Wunder of Topeka, Marilyn (Charles) Filkins of Berryton, Anita (Tad) Dudding of Topeka, Paula (Shannon) Wunder of Berryton, Kelly (Thomas) Lopez of Topeka.

She was preceded in death by two siblings, Kathleen Johnson in 1970 and Randall Wunder in 2009.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at Davidson Funeral Home.   The family will receive friends following the service.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Topeka Helping Hands Humane Society.   www.davidsonfuneral.com
