Treva K. Emery

Treva K. Emery, 93, of Topeka passed away on January 20, 2021.   She was born April 3, 1927 at Cherryvale, Kansas the daughter of William and Katherine Walker. Treva was raised at Cherryvale by John and Katherine Osborn. She was married to Michael Emery on June 23, 1951 in Topeka. She worked at Hallmark Cards several years until her children came along.   She devoted herself to raising her family.   She was a wonderful mom and grandmother. She enjoyed her flower garden and had a fondness for cats. Treva had been a member of Eastside Baptist Church and later Oakland United Methodist Church. She enjoyed weekend trips to area points of interest or home to Cherryvale.

Michael preceded her in death in October of 1975. She was also preceded in death by her son, Rory Emery and her parents.

Survivors include her children, Joyce Paynter, Judy Tyner and husband Darryl, John Emery, and Tracy Emery and wife Kara; 12 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.
