Travis Lightle, 45, Topeka, passed away Monday, December 24, 2018.
He was born October 5, 1973, in Topeka, Kansas, the son of Terry and Patricia (Weimer) Lightle. He graduated from Washburn Rural High School and earned his bachelor's in Criminal Justice from Washburn University.
Travis served an internship with the KBI in Topeka. He later was a campus police officer at the University of Kansas. He also worked at GoodYear Tire & Rubber Company.
He is survived by his parents.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Troy Scott, cousin, Corey Arb and his grandparents.
Visitation will begin at 12 noon on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Parker-Price Funeral Home, 245 NW Independence, Topeka, with funeral services to follow at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be at Rochester Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Helping Hands Humane Society, 5720 SW 21st St, Topeka, KS 66604.
