Travis Lee Cook, 40, of Topeka, passed away on October 23, 2021 at his home.
He was born on December 11, 1980 to Kevin and Leann (Coffee) Cook in Topeka, KS.
Travis graduated from Seaman High School in 1999. After graduation Travis started working for Ferrell Construction and then many years for SPT as a ware house manager. Later in life, Travis worked as a haul truck operator for Mid States Materials.
He loved to be outdoors. Travis enjoyed fishing, hunting, and watching the Kansas City Chiefs and NASCAR. He enjoyed being around his family, especially his brother Troy. Travis was a professional moonshiner at which he passed down his knowledge to his life partner. Travis loved the movies Predator, Mountain Men, and Jeremiah Johnson.
Travis is survived by his parents; brother, Troy (Lisa Kutzke) Cook; life partner, Jessica Holmes and her daughters, Ana Scott and Ava Tisdale; grandfather, Chuck Coffee; grandmother, Dianne Coffee; aunt, DeeDee and uncle, Merle Bledsoe; nieces, Paige and Bailey Cook; nephews, Brayden Cook and Kamden Cook; cousin, Ashley Norton and many other cousins.
Travis was looking forward to becoming a Great Uncle in March.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lewis Cook and Mary Cook; and great grandparents, Eleanor and Don Callahan
Visitation will be held Saturday, October 30, 2021, 10:00 am at Parker-Price Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, in Topeka, Kansas. Celebration of Life will follow starting at 11:00 am at the Parker-Price Cremations, Funerals & Receptions.
Kansas City Chiefs, NASCAR, or camo attire or casual wear requested.
