OBITUARY: Timothy Lee Mutschelknaus

Timothy Lee Mutschelknaus, 47, of Topeka died Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2005 at his home. He was born May 11, 1957 at Sioux Falls, SD the son of Floyd E. and Irma L. (Reimann) Mutschelknaus.

Tim was graduated from South Dakota State University. He was a civil engineer for the Kansas Department of Transportation.

Surviving are his wife, Susan F. Barker of the home; 2 sons, Ian L. Mutschelknaus and Drew A. Mutschelknaus both of the home; his father, Floyd E. Mutschelknaus of Sioux Falls, SD; a brother, Gary F. Mutschelknaus of Topeka; and 2 sisters, Kari Flannigan of Garretson, SD and Pam Peterson of Pierre, SD.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Sat., Jan. 22, 2005 at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence. Interment will be in Penwell-Gabel's Memorial Park Cemetery, Topeka..

Tim will lie in state after 3:00 PM Friday at the funeral chapel where the family will receive friends from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ian & Drew Mutschelknaus Scholarship Fund c/o Credit Union 1 of Kansas, 610 SW 10th, Topeka, KS 66612 OR American Cancer Society, 1315 SW Arrowhead Road, Topeka, KS 66604.
