Timothy "Tim" Allen Reber, born June 12, 1953 in Manhattan, Kansas, passed from this life August 29, 2012 in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 59. Tim graduated from Topeka High School in 1971, and by 1980 had completed his training and apprenticeship to achieve his Journeyman Electrician License.
His career as a Journeyman Electrician was spent both in Topeka and in San Antonio where he moved in 1982. He was very proud of his part in the construction of many commercial buildings in the San Antonio area, including Northwoods Cinema, Encino Park, Southwest, and Wood Glen Elementary School; and numerous buildings at Lackland AFB, Kelly, and Ft. Sam Houston.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents Ralph Edward Reber and Alice Marie (Urbach) Reber Cragun. He is survived by his sister, Diana Reber Ferguson; brother, Ted Reber; brother-in-law, Jim Ferguson; nephews, Chris Reber, Kenneth Ferguson; nieces, Shanda (Reber) Clasby, Becky (Reber) Howe, Clare Ferguson; plus uncles, aunts, and cousins.
A graveside ceremony will be 11 a.m., Friday, September 21, 2012 at the Penwell-Gabel Cemetery, Topeka. Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel in Topeka is assisting the family.
