OBITUARY: Thomas Orin Dutton
Thomas Orin Dutton, 64, Topeka, died Wed., Sept. 27, 2006, at St. Francis Hospital. He was born Sept. 7, 1942 at Lawrence, the son of Harry O. and Caroline (Beasley) Dutton.
Tom had been an Engineer Tech at KDOT. He was a member of Oakland United Methodist Church, and Oakland I.O.O.F. Lodge # 640. He was active with Troop # 1, Boy Scouts of America.
He was married to Nancy Jahnke on June 23, 1967. They were divorced. Tom married Beverly J. LaCrone on Sept. 7, 1985 at Topeka. She survives.
Also surviving are 4 sons: John Dutton of Billings, MT, Mark Dutton of Topeka, Michael Vasques of Topeka, and Daniel Vasques-Dutton of the home; 4 daughters: Katie Etzel of Topeka, Angela Higgins of Topeka, Elizabeth Hill of Salina, and Felica Vasquez-Dutton of Topeka; a brother: Ron Dutton of Lakewood, CA; 6 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 10:00 a..m., Sat., Oct. 7, 2006, at Oakland United Methodist Church followed by lodge services conducted by Oakland I.O.O.F. Lodge # 640. At Tom's request, please wear bright festive attire. Memorial contributions may be made to the Thomas O. Dutton Memorial Fund, 3421 N.W. Fredith Lane, Topeka, KS 66618.
