She is survived by her brother, Lawrence R. Pendergrass of Junction City and sister, Cynthia Barnwell (Austin) of Topeka, Ks, Nephew, Adam Tate (Vikki), great nieces Hadley Tate, Colbi Tate, great nephew Brecken Tate of Topeka Ks, Nephew, Joshua Tate of Topeka, Ks, Niece , Ruth Tate-Cotton (Kurt Cotton), great nieces Daisy Cotton and Lilly Cotton of Covington Louisiana. Uncle Rick Hanson of Junction City, Cousin, Kim Taylor Bulin (Jim Bulin) Jennifer Bulin of Hereford Texas, Cousin Liz Taylor and Becca Taylor of Manhattan Ks and Sarah Taylor of Denver Colorado.
Teri was born at Fort Riley, Kansas on January 29th, 1953. She graduated from Junction City Senior High in 1971 and continued studies in art and music at Colby Community College. Teri worked Civil Service at Fort Riley, Kansas for 30 years and retired in 2008. Teri was an accomplished pianist and served as pianist for church and was a notable artist. She excelled in needlework and was a teacher of needle arts, painting and piano. She will be remembered for her kindness, art and love of her family.
Services will be held August 18, 2018 at First Southern Baptist Church 1912 Gage Topeka, Kansas. Any memorial donations may be made to First Southern Baptist Church 1912 Gage Topeka, Kansas 66604 or left in care of the Davidson Funeral Home. davidsonfuneral.com.
