Terry James Daugherty, 50, of Topeka, passed away Friday, June 11, 2010.
He was born September 4, 1959 in Topeka, the son of Keith and Virginia (Woodford) Daugherty. He was a graduate of Seaman High School.
He was employed by UPS, Dale Willey, NAPA Auto Parts, and Boomerang Lube and Wash.
Terry married Stephanie Sherman. They were divorced. Survivors include his wife, Sally Williams; a son, Shane Daugherty Roberts; a sister, Sandra (John) Currier all of Topeka. He was preceded in death by his father and his mother who passed on June 12, 2010.
Terry was a KU Fan, a Harley Davidson enthusiast and enjoyed fishing.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, June 15, 2010 at the Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Ave, Topeka, KS 66608. Cremation will follow the service. Mr. Daugherty will lie in state after 3 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Helping Hands Humane Society, 2625 NW Rochester Rd, Topeka, KS 66617.
