Terry Agler, 73, of Topeka, passed away Saturday, October 10, 2020.
He was born July 18, 1947, in Auburn, Indiana, the son of Donald Gene Agler and JoAnne (McMillen) Agler. He received a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from Purdue University.
Terry married Cynthia Sizemore on June 7, 1969 in South Bend, Indiana, she survives. Other survivors include their children Charla (Jon) Huston, Cami Harrington, Carrie (Jim) Leske, Donnie (Elisa) Agler, and Candace (Tom) Gommels; sisters, Anita (Bill) Zeigler, Carole (Lance) Mendell, Beth (Dennis) Berman; 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild on the way. He was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Christy Frantz.
He was a business man; he owned two pharmacies in Kansas with his wife: Northside Family Health Mart and Valley Falls Pharmacy. His business interests went beyond the pharmacy and he spent time as an investment broker in the early 80's and most recently owned various rental properties.
He loved sports, especially golf. He was a great man of faith. He was known for his integrity, loyalty and fairness. He loved politics and ran for Congress in Missouri in 1980.
He was faithful to his family and was greatly loved and respected by everyone. He kept busy visiting his kids, grandkids and traveling with his wife. Their favorite spot to vacation to was Cancun.
A Private Funeral Service will take place Parker-Price Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 245 N.W. Independence Avenue, Topeka. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, in Topeka.
