Teresa Fae Kern

Teresa "Terry" Fae Kern, 67, of Topeka, Kansas, passed away on February 22, 2025. She was born on January 26, 1958, to Donald and Wilma (Baldwin) Kern in Topeka. Teresa graduated from Seaman High School in 1976. 

She began her career at Brewster Place, followed by a position at Luce Press, before working for the state for over 30 years, retiring in January 2018. In her free time, Teresa enjoyed reading and a variety of crafts, including sewing, crocheting, hobby carpentry, wreath making and many others. She especially cherished teaching her nieces, great-nieces and great-nephews the joy of crafting and cooking. She was known for her exceptional culinary skills, with some of her most treasured gifts being homemade recipes and treats.

Teresa was preceded in death by her father, Donald Kern, and her brother, Randy Kern. 

She is survived by her mother, Wilma Kern of Topeka; her brother, Brian (Bonnie) Kern of Perry; her sister, Angie (Mike) Bisnett of Meriden; her nieces, Donnielle (Austin) Winter of Holton, Jessica Kern of Lawrence, Amanda (Michael) Sadler of Topeka, Casey (Phil) Webb of Meriden and Shelby Bisnett of Topeka; and seven great-nieces and great-nephews.

A visitation will be held on Friday, February 28, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Parker-Price & Davidson Funerals, 245 NW Independence Ave, Topeka, Kansas. Burial will take place at Half Day Cemetery, Topeka. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Midland Care, Topeka, Kansas.
