Tedd G. Meyer
Tedd G. Meyer, 77, Topeka, died Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2004, at a Topeka hospital. Mr. Meyer did display advertising for the Capital-Journal for more than 20 years before retiring in 1991. He also did display advertising in Manhattan before he joined the Capital-Journal. He served in the Army during World War II. He was born May 30, 1926, in Des Moines, Iowa, the son of John G. and Berenice E. Guenther Meyer. Mr. Meyer was a member of South Knollwood Baptist Church. He married Bonnie J. Baker on Feb. 24, 1968, in Centropolis. She survives. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at South Knollwood Baptist Church. Burial in Sunset Cemetery in Manhattan will be private. Mr. Meyer will lie in state at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel after 3 p.m. today, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to South Knollwood Baptist Church, 1813 S.W. 29th St., Topeka, 66611-1999.
