Tanner Blake Reed, 32, of Wamego, passed away on Sunday, November 12th, 2023. He was born on March 18th, 1991 in Topeka, the son of Derrick Reed and Valerie Beam.
Survivors include his children, Bria Reed and Apollo Reed of Topeka, Kyden Reed of Kansas City, Talon Jenkins of Salina, his mother Valerie Beam of Topeka, his brothers Skylar Reed, Brendon Reed, Baylor Reed, his sister Jadyn Myers, all of Topeka and his grandparents Cindy (Cecil) Garland, Tom Boynton, Edward (Pamela) Reed and Jerry (Phyllis) Tatum. Tanner was preceded in death by his father, Derrick, on November 8th, 2022.
Tanner graduated from Topeka High in 2009. He had a love for food, and he enjoyed working in the restaurant industry over the past several years. He enjoyed sports, especially his favorite team, the Cincinnati Bengals.
Tanner will always be remembered for his infectious smile, big heart, and his kind and caring personality. He always looked forward to spending time with his children, and he loved them beyond measure. He was a joy to know and talk to, and he will be truly missed.
Cremation is planned. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, November 24, 2023 at Parker-Price 245 NW Independence Ave., Topeka, KS 66608. A private inurnment will take place on a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made towards the funeral services.
