Sylvia J. Spangler, 63, of Topeka, passed away Sunday, May 24, 2009.
She was born July 24, 1945 in Wamego, KS, the daughter of Karl and Ella (Hasenbank) Fink.
Sylvia married Keith Spangler on December 15, 1984 in Hoyt, KS. He preceded her in death on January 31, 1997. Survivors include her sons, Carl Correll of Elmont, KS and William Correll of Valley Falls, KS; three sisters; and a brother; 7 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Thursday, May 28, 2009 at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Ave, Topeka. Interment will follow Rose Hill Cemetery, Newman, KS. Mrs. Spangler will lie in state from 3-9 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Midland Hospice Care, 200 SW Frazier Circle, Topeka, KS 66606.
