OBITUARY: Sue Ann Pliler
Sue Ann Pliler, 72, Topeka, died Fri., July 2, 2010, at Stormont-Vail Hospical. She was born Sept. 10, 1937, in Topeka, the daughter of George E. and Ruth Hoffman. Sue had been a hostess at Shawnee County Club and a cashier at Walgreen's in Highland Park. She was married to Charles "Ray" Pliler, Sr. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by a son, William Edward Pliler. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law: Charles R. and Brenda Pliler of Topeka; 2 grandchildren: Craig Atwood and Lee Atwood; and 5 great-grandchildren. Committal services will be at 9:00 AM, Wed., July 7, 2010, at Topeka Cemetery Garden Chapel. Sue will lie in state from 4:00 to 8:30 PM, Tues., at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Ave.
