Stephen John Moran, 57, of Topeka passed away August 30, 2016. He was born January 10, 1959 in Topeka, Kansas the son of Betty and Basil Moran.

Steve graduated from Seaman High School and attended Washburn University. Steve was a brick layer and a member of the Brick Layers Union Local 15.

Steve is survived by his parents and two brothers, David Moran and Tom (Sherry) Moran and three sisters, Joan Butera, Mary (Mike) Neely and Kathy (Phil) Barney, his ex-wife Linda Krehbiel and three step children, Andy Krehbiel, Melanie Krehbiel and Leslie Auman and two grandchildren Katelyn and Kyle Auman, and four nephews, Matt Neely, Justin Moran, Tim Moran, and Sean Moran, three nieces, Michelle (Bob) Lorence, Jennifer Moran, and Ashley (Jeff) Rickard, two great nieces Lucy Rickard and Katie Lorence and one great nephew John Rickard. Steve was preceded in death by his sister, Theresa (Ed) Bonham.

Cremation is planned. Celebration of Steve's life will be Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 10:30am at the Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, Parker Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Avenue, Topeka, KS 66608. A reception will follow at the Northland Christian Church, 3102 NW Topeka Boulevard, Topeka, KS 66617.
